Al-Reem Restaurant is a highly recommended Mandhi restaurant in Edappally, Kochi, which is currently trending among the locals. I recently visited the restaurant for dinner and would like to share my detailed experience with you.
Al-Reem Restaurant Review:
Location:
Al-Reem Restaurant is located on NH 66, Amrita Nagar, Edappally, Ernakulam, Kerala 682024. It is situated on the main road that connects Edappally to Cherai Beach Road. You can easily locate the restaurant by following the address or by using the Google Maps link https://maps.app.goo.gl/sMhbstCAi4oGgH6o9. It is a convenient location in Cherai, situated on the main road, making it easily accessible.
Working Hours:
Al-Reem Restaurant operates seven days a week from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM. You can check their availability on Google My Business before visiting. The restaurant is open throughout the day, making it a great option for a lunch or dinner outing.
Parking:
The restaurant offers an open-space parking facility for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers, which is free of cost. The parking area is located on the road, making it easy for customers to park their vehicles.
Ambience:
The ambience of the restaurant is pleasant, with calm and composed surroundings. The restaurant offers both AC and non-AC dining areas, and I chose the AC cabin for my meal. The seating arrangements are comfortable and well-maintained, but they need to consider the gap between the chair and table, which is a bit small and uncomfortable. The restroom facilities are available, but they need to maintain cleanliness. The restaurant’s atmosphere receives a rating of 3 out of 5 stars, and I suggest that they maintain a minimum gap between the table and chair to make the seating arrangement more comfortable. The Ambiance is suitable for enjoying this spot with friends and family.
Service:
The restaurant’s service is impressive, with the staff being hygienic and maintaining a clean and quick service. However, they need to improve their service by using head caps and hand gloves while serving. The service was a bit slow, with no water served on the table while we were eating. They need to improve the service and ensure that necessary items are placed on the table. The food was served on well-cleaned plates. The restaurant’s service receives a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars, and I suggest they provide quick service to enhance the customer experience. Also Need to Serve the needfull Items quickly like water.
Food and Taste:
As recommended by the locals, I ordered Full Plain Mandhi, which is the most famous dish at Al-Reem. The dish was served with chicken, cucumber, and mini chilli tomato toppings, which made it look colourful and appetizing. The serving method was impressive, but unfortunately, the taste did not match my expectations. The chicken was cooked well, but the masala did not add to the flavour of the mandhi. I expected it to taste better than the mandhi from Arabian Palace, which I had tried before, but the taste was average. The mandhi rice tasted okay, and the tipping taste combined with the rice was good. Overall, I would rate the taste of the mandhi 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Overall Review:
Al-Reem Restaurant is a great place to enjoy mandhi with friends and family. The restaurant’s location, ambience, and service make it a perfect place for a lunch or dinner outing. However, the restaurant needs to improve its service and taste to enhance the customer experience. Despite this, Al-Reem is not a disappointing space, and I would rate my overall experience 3.8 out of 5 stars.
