DD Returns Engaged Audience or Not – Movie Review 

DD Returns was released as the third part due to the high engagement of the previous two parts. In this article, I will share my experience with DD Returns. Should “The DD Returns” engage the audience or not? 

Story Line 

The storyline of The DD Returns involves a hero and a gang who become trapped in a haunted house. The tasks they must complete inside the house and how they manage to escape are central to the plot. Despite lacking surprises, the movie’s storyline is similar to the previous two parts. The beginning of the film foreshadows the storyline. Humour is a significant aspect of the movie, and we’ll have to see if it works as well in The DD Returns as it did in the previous films. 

Screenplay 

The success of a screenplay lies in its ability to effectively deliver humour to the audience. However, in this particular screenplay, the predictability of the scenes and jokes is apparent as they attempt to replicate comedy from its predecessors. While some scenes and humour are entertaining, the overall pacing of the screenplay struggles to keep up with its attempts at humour. In comparison to the previous two parts, this screenplay falls short in its impressiveness and fails to effectively convey its humor to the audience.

Acting Level 

As for the acting, Santhanam performs his role just as well as he did in the previous film. The heroine also delivers a strong performance based on her character. The movie features a lot of talented comedic actors who also perform their roles well, but unfortunately, the screenplay’s shortcomings waste their efforts.

Online Movie Review DD Returns 

I recently watched an enjoyable movie that I would recommend for families. It’s a great stress reliever and has a positive impact on your mood. Best movie to watch in OTT – It is Streaming on ZEE. Although the movie had some serious aspects, the comedic scenes were the most entertaining. Overall, I would give it a 3 out of 5 rating.
