Halle Bailey and DDG have become parents! On January 6th, the 23-year-old actress from The Little Mermaid and member of Chloe x Halle shared the news on social media that she and her 26-year-old rapper partner had welcomed their first child together. Halle revealed the baby’s name and gender and even shared a new photo.
Halle used Instagram to announce the news, posting a photo of herself holding her newborn son Halo’s hand. In her caption, she wrote, “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me was to bring me my son. Welcome to the world my halo. The world is desperate to know you.” Baby Halo is wearing a gold bracelet with his name in the photo.
This announcement comes shortly after DDG denied rumours that the couple had welcomed a baby girl and asked the public to stop asking. Halle has also addressed comments about her “pregnancy nose” and thanked her “real supporters who are respectful of women’s bodies.”
