The story revolves around Mathew (played by Mammootty Devassy), a retired bank secretary who reluctantly enters a by-election after his wife Omana (portrayed by Jyothika) files for divorce, citing his homosexuality as the reason. Alongside Mammootty and Jyothika, the film features Anagha Akku, Alex Alister, Josey Sijo, and others.
