Kongu Parotta Stall Erode Food Review: Kongu Parotta Stall is a well-known restaurant in Erode that is famous for its delicious parottas. The restaurant offers a wide range of menu items, but the aroma of their parottas is what attracts most customers. Recently, I visited this restaurant for dinner and would like to share my experience with you.

You can use the location link to get easy access to the restaurant. The restaurant has a spacious parking facility for both four-wheelers and two-wheelers, and the parking cost is free. The restaurant is open all days of the week from 9.00 AM to 11.00 PM. However, please be careful while getting out of the parking space.

Ambience:

The aroma of the restaurant’s parottas is so inviting that it compelled us to have dinner there. The restaurant has a very basic ambience, but it is maintained very clean and composed. The dining area is non-AC, but it is suitable for both friends and families. However, the restroom facility is not available inside the dining area, and you need to go to the parking slot area to use it. The restaurant is very busy during the night hours.

Service:

The restaurant’s service was quick, even during busy hours, which was a pleasant surprise for me. They served the food with banana leaves, which added to the overall experience. However, the service person needs to maintain some cleaning measures like caps and gloves. As I experienced, the service was quick but not clean, which was a bit disappointing.

Food and Taste:

For my dinner, I ordered Parotta and Kothu Parotta with Pallipalayam Chicken Gravy. The parottas were nothing special, but the salna of the parotta had a unique taste that set it apart from other restaurants. However, the kothu parotta they served me was very watery and not that tasty. They charged more for the kothu parotta, but it was not worth it. It seemed more like gum than a kothu parotta. I have tried Pallipalayam Chicken multiple times in different locations, but the one they served at Kongu Parotta Stall was not up to the mark. The salt of the gravy dominated the masala taste of the Pallipalayam Chicken.

Kongu Parotta Stall is located in a prime location, but the taste of the food and the quality of the service are not worth the cost. I paid around 600 rupees for my meal, but I was not satisfied with the service and quality of the food. Even though I was hungry, my mind pushed me to leave as soon as possible. This restaurant failed to provide quality food. In conclusion, the basic parotta with unique gravy was good, but the kothu parotta and Pallipalayam chicken gravy were the worst that I have had at this restaurant.
