Kubaba Newly Launched Kuzhimandhi Restaurant Review at Kochi Kerala – Worth it or Not?

During my recent visit to Kochi Edpally Marottichuvadu, I had the pleasure of dining at the newly opened Kubaba Kuzhimandhi Restaurant. This restaurant is conveniently located near Thall Kitchen and Waffas Kitchen, both of which I have reviewed in the past. In this review, I would like to share my experience of dining at Kubaba Kuzhimandhi Restaurant.

Ambiance:

The restaurant has a very clean and well-maintained space, with cool seating and lighting arrangements. The entire space has a night theme, which adds to the overall ambiance of the place. There are two types of seating arrangements available – a balcony and a basic sitting area. Both areas have been designed with unique and clean themes, making it one of the best theme-based restaurants in the Kochi area. Additionally, the restaurant has a washroom facility available for customers. In terms of ambiance and overall theme, I would like to give Kubaba Kuzhimandhi Restaurant a 4-star rating.

Service:

While the service staff was cool and calm, I did feel that the service was a little slow. Moreover, many items from the menu list were not available at the restaurant, which was quite disappointing. I had planned to eat Basic Mandhi, but even that was not available. I was also expecting a starter before the meal, but unfortunately, that was not provided either. I feel that the restaurant needs to improve its service quality, as it failed to deliver the promised items. Therefore, I would like to rate the service of Kubaba Kuzhimandhi Restaurant a 2-star rating.

Food and Taste:

As Kubaba Kuzhimandhi Restaurant’s specialty dish is Kuzhimandhi, I decided to try that out. The restaurant offers a variety of Mandhi dishes on its menu card, but unfortunately, many of those items are not available in reality. This was a significant letdown, and I had to settle for Alfam Mandhi instead.

After waiting for 15 minutes, I received my food, which came with a limited amount of salad and Mionies, along with a different type of item. The Mandhi Rice looked different from what I have seen at other restaurants in Kochi, and it had a slightly spicy taste to it. However, the Alfam Chicken was as basic as what you would get at any other restaurant. Overall, the food and taste were average, and I would like to rate Kubaba Kuzhimandhi Restaurant a 3-star rating for the food I received.
