Salaar Box Office Collection: Prabhas is experiencing a noteworthy resurgence with his latest action-thriller, Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel. The film is not only holding its ground but surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki at the box office. While Dunki’s opening day saw around Rs 30 crore in earnings, Salaar has already secured an impressive Rs 50 crore in advance sales for its first day.

Prashanth Neel, known for his success in the Kannada film industry with the KGF blockbusters, has directed Salaar. Prabhas, despite not delivering a hit since the Baahubali series, continues to dominate the box office. Salaar’s success seems to hinge on Prabhas’ stardom, unlike the recent hit Animal, which benefited from both Ranbir Kapoor’s star power and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial prowess, appealing to Hindi and Telugu audiences.

Despite facing setbacks with big-budget films like Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and Adipurush, Prabhas remains a formidable force. His upcoming project, the dystopian thriller Kalki 2898 AD, featuring Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, adds to the anticipation surrounding his future releases.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki is grappling with lukewarm reviews and underwhelming box office returns. It marks Shah Rukh Khan’s lowest opening of the year, trailing behind Jawan and Pathaan, and falls short of director Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju. Dunki faces an uphill battle if it aims to leave a lasting impact in the long run.
