The Worst Food Spot Chicking Palarivattam Kochi: During my recent visit to Kochi, I decided to try out Chicking, a popular food spot located in Palarivattom. Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was far from satisfactory. It was one of the worst food experiences I have ever had, and I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially kids.

Location

Chicking has multiple locations in Kochi, but I visited the one in Palarivattom. The exact address of this branch is Veerath Complex, 3rd Floor, Civil Line Rd, Palarivattom, Ernakulam, Kerala 682025. The restaurant is open every day of the week from 11.00 AM to 12.00 PM.

Ambiance

The ambiance of the restaurant is decent, with a calm and well-organized seating arrangement. The entire space is covered with AC, and it is maintained very cleanly. However, I did face some difficulty reaching the table from my seat, and my tallest friend also had trouble reaching the food on the table. Despite this, I would rate the atmosphere 7 out of 10.

Service

The service at Chicking was a bit slow, but the quality of service was fine. The cleanliness of the service was also good. However, the staff needs to improve their knowledge of the dishes they serve. I would give the service 5 out of 10.

Food and Taste

Now, coming to the most important aspect of any restaurant – the food. I ordered the special item of the day, which was chicken legs and chicken strips. Unfortunately, the food was of very poor quality. The chicken was too oily, not cooked well, and had a raw masala flavor. Kids shouldn’t have eaten, and I could feel the rawness of the chicken while holding it in my hand. The taste of the chicken was terrible, and it made me feel like vomiting. The oil used to cook the chicken seemed very old, and it was evident that the quality of the food was very poor. I have attached some images of the chicken that they served, which were of very low quality. I also visited this spot during prime time, and even then, the food was terrible. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially kids.

In conclusion, Chicking Palarivattom was a huge disappointment, and it added a negative note to my review travel of to Kochi. The food quality was terrible, and the ambiance and service were not enough to make up for it. I would give this food spot a rating of 1 out of 10.
