Nilla Restaurant in Kochi Edappaly: I recently had a food experience at a street food restaurant called Nila in Kochi Edappaly. I would like to share my honest opinion about the restaurant without bias.
Table of Contents
Location:
I noticed many Nila restaurants in Kochi, but I had the opportunity to visit the one in Edappaly near Lulumall at the metro entry. I will be reviewing this particular Nila restaurant.
Ambience:
Nila restaurant is a street-side restaurant that provides an excellent seating area. However, due to its small size, only a limited number of people can dine at the restaurant. Despite this, the small space is kept clean and organized. The food is attractively displayed, which tempts customers to select the best food. I give the restaurant 3 stars for its ambience.
Service:
Since it is a street-side shop, I experienced a delay in service due to the crowd. However, I understand that fast service is not expected at street-side restaurants.
Food and Taste:
I ordered the Kothu Chicken Kothu Porratta because of its appealing display. Despite being a street-side shop, the food was served like a restaurant and was quite impressive. The Kothu Parrotta was cooked with coconut oil, which gave it a unique taste. Most Kerala food is cooked with coconut oil which gives them a different taste. The food was served with raw onion and cucumber, which was delicious. The restaurant was also very hygienic. However, the quantity of food served was quite low, and I paid around 130 Rs for it. I don’t think it was worth the money. I rate the food and taste at 3 stars. The restaurant accepts online payments like g-pay and cash.
Nilla Restaurant in Kochi Edappaly- Review:
The food taste was okay, but the quantity needs improvement. The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. I rate the food taste at 3 stars, the ambiance at 3 stars, and the service needs improvement. I recommend this restaurant for small snacks and for enjoying food with friends.
