“Jailer” is Rajini’s 169th movie, which was released with high expectations, as it is a crucial addition to Director Nelson’s filmography. In this review, I will discuss whether it is worth watching or not.
Story Line
Rajini is a retired police officer who lives happily with his family. His son, who is also a police officer, is investigating cases related to a smuggling group. Unfortunately, Rajini’s son goes missing due to this case. This prompts Rajini to start a search for his son. The story of the Jailer revolves around whether Rajini finds his son and what happens to him.
The storyline of The Jailer follows a basic Tamil cinema plot where the hero seeks revenge against the villain. This plotline is not particularly surprising.
Screen Play
The plot of the story may be outdated, but director Nelson has created a masterful screenplay that resonates with today’s audiences. The best part of the screenplay is the subtle humor woven into a serious storyline. The last 20 minutes of the screenplay are a stunning masterpiece, thanks to the collaboration between Nelson and Rajinikanth. Additionally, Nelson has included cameo roles by Sivarajkumar and Mohanlal, adding another layer of depth to the already impressive screenplay. It is highly recommended that this film be experienced in theaters to truly appreciate the ultra-level quality of Nelson’s work.
Acting Level
Rajinikanth praises Carrey’s impressive energy and masterful portrayal of his character, making his screen presence truly enjoyable. Vinayagan impresses with his engaging acting as the villain in the movie’s screenplay. Ramya Krishnan, who played an important role in Padaiyappa, also delivers a notable performance in the jailer movie. Mohanlal, Sivaraj Kumar, and Jackie Shroff make cameo appearances, while Yogi Babu’s humorous character and chemistry with Rajinikanth add to the enjoyable plot. Vasanth Ravi also plays a crucial role in the story. The main character that stands out in the movie is memorable, and other actresses like VTV Ganesh and Thamana play minor roles.
Music
Aniruth is ruling the tamil cinema industry with his music nowadays – his music is the main reason we should enjoy this in theaters. Every song and every BGM added value to the screenplay. That song with his energy will become the Rajini anthem. (Hukkum)
Online Jailer Movie Review
The movie has an engaging storyline, impressive music, and exceptional acting performances by the actors, making it worth watching in theaters. Although some scenes in the screenplay may seem slow, the last 20 minutes of the movie managed to make up for any lagging. However, parents should be aware that there is a lot of blood in some scenes, which may make children uncomfortable. In my opinion, this movie deserves a rating of 7 out of 10, and I would like to congratulate the jailer team for their impressive work. Online Jailer Movie Review by Review Man
